"I Stitch therefore I Stash" SAL

I just finished this SAL from Crazy Cross-Stitch magazine. Issue #139 on pg 48. The designer is Rhona Norrie. I stitched french knots instead of beads as it will be framed.

I am almost done with this project. I just have the leaf at the bottom left corner, backstitching and french knots left to do. This is a SAL that I am doing with one of my cross stitching group. Some of the gals have finished it in various ways...like on a tote bag, one gal put it on a wooden box to keep her stash, floss, needles, etc.... another framed it, etc... I haven't decided yet how I want to do the finishing when done with the stitching.

SanMan Jar SAL

I finished the SanMan Jar SAL last night. It was a quick stitch and lovely motifs inside each jar. I haven't decided yet how I will do the finishing part.

SanMan SAL

I finished July, August and October. I decided to finish the rest which is Sept, Nov and Dec. Then I will post a photo of Jan to Dec when completed.

"T'is The Season To Be Snowy"

I found this chart in my box of magazines and I decided to stitched it since it is a small chart. I used 28ct "Amber" fabric and WDW threads. The birdhouse is an embellishment which I bought from my local LNS.

Pooh writing letter

Since I write letters, I am stitching up these "Winnie the Pooh" characters ...... I use double-sided tape to put stitched character onto card stock then go from there to write my own letter. An idea to elict smiles from the receiver when opening the letter.

Mailart envelope

The rabbit writing a letter on the back of Eeyore is the front of the mailart envelope.

Pooh and Piglet walking toward the sunset is on the back of the mailart envelope.

I will be adding some small gifts inside the envelope. The flap of the envelope is secured with buttons to keep the gifts inside. I already stitched the person's snail address on the envelope. It is ready to go to the post office next week.

"My Lttle Heart" SAL

I just finished my May, June and July designs of "My Little Heart" SAL. I am trying to catch up on all of my SALs in between my large stitching projects.
