I am starting on "Spirit of the Sockeye" for Day 3 of my Crazy Jan Challenge. This is really going to be a challenge because it is stitched on 28 ct black Cashel linen. Because it is a black fabric, it will be slow going for me due to my eyesights. I do have a Ott-Light and magnifier but I also have a floater in one of my eyes so that will make it even harder. I will alternate with another stitching project to rest my eyes as I do this.

Great project Sue. Put a piece of white cloth or towel or something white on your lap you will be able to see the holes better :)
ReplyDeleteFinally, something that you can't finish same day you start! It's a lovely project, I have the chart also. And I have the fabric, and the floss... hmmm... maybe we can have a little SAL going on? Happy New Year Sue and good luck with the challenge!
ReplyDeleteHmm, a floater eh? I wonder if I can blame today's screw-up on my floaters... :) Hope it gets easier as you get used to stitching it!
ReplyDeleteI look forward to seeing the progress and final finish!
