Mitten motifs for wicker basket

I am stitching motifs for 3 wicker baskets. My grandson is almost 3 years old so I needed to stitch motifs of what is inside the wicker basket. This one will have mittens only inside. (Photo on the right) The second one will have a scarves only motif and the third one will have toques only motif. He will be able to take the basket from the shelves to get what he wants without taking all of the basket down and dump them on the floor to find what he wants.

  1. That is an excellent idea, but do you think it will help? :D

  2. What a cute idea for helping the little boy know what is stored in each basket. I never heard the word "toque" before and had to Google it!

Toque: The proper name for a warm winter hat, traditionally knitted but now available in numerous materials.

We call them "beanies" in the US! Lol.

  3. I think that's a great idea, although I have doubts about stopping a 3-year-old from dumping things. LOL
