The point, for me, is to find the joy in the journey. I like kitting, starting, stitching, and finishing, so I enjoy the journey from start to finish. I hope you can find the joy in just putting in the stitches, and not only in having a finish. It looks great so far. And at some point, you're not gonna be able to see the design coming together until you take a step back. And then, WHAM!!! It all comes together and you see how very much progress you have made. Amazing!!
Sue, it's an HAED - you know it's going to be a long stitch! LOL I'm still waiting on my fabric so I can start my first one - Computer Catastrophes. Looking forward to seeing the progress pictures.
I understand you, Sue. My NP project is called "Cats in the basket". Stitching all the colors in the basket is the one that makes me want to tear my hair apart.
Baby steps :)
ReplyDeleteYou're so right! If you saw what I am stitching right now, you'd understand why.
DeleteIt will look beautiful when it's done!
