I picked up The Britain No #1, Cross-Stitcher magazine and this is a cover kit that came with it. I thought I would give it a try since it would be my first time stitching on wood. The red felt in the background is what I used to cover the stitching on the back of the fob. This was a fun stitch!
The part to end the thread was hard so I decided to just leave it hanging and when I finished with the stitching of the design, I tighten the loose threads before putting on the sticky felt at the back of the wood. The stitching, itself, was not hard.
